Rooster Morris<http://www.roostermorris.com/>, cowboy turned children's author, plays his fiddle, performs readings from his books, and motivates students to read and write for the FUN of it. Rooster has performed his reading program for over 5 million children, nationwide. His writing workshop has been adopted as a yearly event by many Texas elementary schools for inspiring students to write-especially those students who have never written before.

There are two Axle Galench books <http://www.axlegalench.com/home/> published, the third is in the works, and Rooster is currently working on the 4th book, Axle Galench and the Dungeon's Secret.

Rooster has two programs:

-          a reading workshop as he talks about how he became an author, his writing process, and how to encourage students to write their own stories

-          a Writing Workshop, a 90 minute session that helps students learn and build confidence in their writing skills.
